At the moment I am whole-heartedly embracing colour!! Melbourne is renowned for always dressing in black, much the same as New York, which i have always been a fan of. But it seems this season there has been a change of colour palate. Designers such as Lisa Ho, Bettina Liano and Sass and Bide are bursting with colours ranging from bright orange to hot pink, red and canary yellow. Not only is this a change from the basic black, white and beige combo that is rife during the winter months in Melbourne but designers are combining colours for a clashing statement outfit. Although colour is not for everyone and does require some confidence to pull off, i am willing to give it a shot. I love playing with different colours for a change and i find it brightens your mood and turns heads when you go out. At the moment i'm loving bright red and orange...definitely warms up the bitter winter of Melbourne.
